Clear Drainage, Clean Grounds, Lasting Hardscape

Greenwell Springs landscape and drainage work done with pavers, slate, and soft washing

Southern Roots LLC is a family-owned, owner-operated business serving residential properties where heavy rainfall, mildew, and algae growth are a constant reality — not an occasional problem. The combination of persistent moisture and concrete that stays dirty year-round makes exterior maintenance an ongoing need, and Southern Roots is structured to meet it on a regular schedule. Whether you need drainage work to address standing water or soft washing to knock back algae that returns with every wet season, the work is handled by the same team every time.

If your property looks like most in this part of Louisiana — cookie-cutter stock construction with a yard that needs consistent attention — you already know that one-time fixes rarely hold. Scheduling maintenance on a weekly, bi-weekly, or annual contract basis keeps your exterior in better shape between treatments and prevents small issues from compounding. Free estimates are available, so you can understand the scope before committing to anything.

Southern Roots was built with the intention of growing alongside the communities it works in — that ethos is reflected even in the business's own branding, which centers on the image of roots and room to grow. The goal isn't a quick turnaround; it's work that holds up and a name neighbors recognize when they see it on a yard sign and look it up later.

Scheduling, Scope, and What to Expect

Every project starts with a free estimate, so there are no surprises before work begins. Southern Roots operates Monday through Saturday, 8am to 5pm, and can structure service under flexible arrangements — weekly, bi-weekly, or full annual contracts — depending on what your property actually needs rather than a one-size plan.

Knowing what you're getting before anyone shows up matters, especially for recurring exterior work where consistency is part of the value. Drainage, landscaping, and washing services are coordinated through the owner directly, which keeps communication straightforward and accountability clear throughout the job.

Here's a closer look at what Southern Roots brings to each project:

Soft washing applied at low pressure to remove mildew and algae without damaging surface material — starting at $300 for driveway work.

Hardscaping with pavers and slate, plus pathway lighting for properties that want both structure and visibility after dark.

Drainage systems suited to areas where heavy, frequent rain causes persistent runoff and pooling on residential lots.

Landscaping and lawn maintenance on flexible schedules that match how often properties in this region actually need attention.

Built Local, Run by the Owner

A family-owned operation offering free estimates and flexible maintenance schedules.

Southern Roots LLC is owner-operated, which means the person responsible for the business's reputation is the same person responsible for the quality of every job. That structure isn't incidental — it's the reason the business built brand recognition through yard signs placed directly on client properties in and around Greenwell Springs, where word of mouth and visible work speak louder than advertising.

The services offered — from drainage and hardscaping to regular lawn maintenance — are the kind that reward consistent, reliable execution over time. Pavers and slate laid correctly hold up. Drainage systems designed for the actual conditions on a lot prevent recurring problems. Lawn care and soft washing on a dependable schedule keep properties looking maintained rather than recovered. That's the standard Southern Roots holds itself to, job after job.
